Interschool Block Sport

What is Block Sport?
Block Sport is an exciting opportunity for students to join teams in sports available for their age group each term. These teams compete against other schools in Townsville over a thrilling 5–6-week period, with games held one afternoon per week.

Matches are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school, following either a home-and-away format or taking place at a central venue. Townsville Grammar School proudly enters teams into these competitions when a teacher is available to coach and enough enthusiastic students commit to participating.

For games hosted at venues outside the School, transport is provided. The bus departs from Gate 3, Paxton Street, at 3:30 pm and returns to the School after the final game, usually around 5:30 pm.
