Junior School Curriculum
The Junior School aims to meet the particular needs of each child through a stimulating, supportive and creative learning environment.
All students in Year 1 - 6 study the following key curriculum areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
- Humanities and Social Science
- Visual Arts
- Technology
In addition, each class has weekly lessons with specialist staff in each of the following areas, which creates a wonderfully stimulating learning environment.
- STEM
- Performing Arts
- Physical Education
- Music + Year 3 Strings
- Library
- Languages (French)
Junior School students from Year 5 are included in the annual academic awards program that acknowledges and celebrates both academic endeavour and achievement:
- Pro Diligentia Awards (Years 5-12) presented in Term 2 and Term 4
- Cum Laude Awards (Years 5-12) presented in Term 3
- Speech Night (Term 4)
