Junior School Curriculum
The Junior School curriculum provides a stimulating, supportive and creative learning environment.
Key curriculum areas - all students in Year 1 - 6 study the following:
- English, Mathematics, Science
- Humanities and Social Science, Visual Arts, Technology
Specialist lessons - each class has weekly lessons in the following:
- STEM, Library, Languages (French)
- Music + Year 3 Strings, Dance and Drama
- Physical Education
Academic Awards
Junior School students in Years 5 and 6 are included in the annual academic awards program that acknowledges and celebrates both academic endeavour and achievement:
- Pro Diligentia Awards (Years 5-12) presented in Terms 2 and 4
- Cum Laude Awards (Years 5-12) presented in Term 3
- Speech Day (Years 5-12) in Term 4
